Aboriginal Tenant Advocacy Service

This service is available for Aboriginal tenants. We help with information and assistance with your rights and responsibilities when managing your tenancy. We can also help with understanding letters and documents about your housing and support you in court if necessary.

We travel to communities within the Mid West and Gascoyne region as far as Carnarvon, Meekatharra, and Three Springs. Our Carnarvon office can assist you in getting an appointment if you live in the Gascoyne region.

Tenant Advocacy Service (Generalist)

This service is available for any person who is a tenant. We help with information and assistance with your rights and responsibilities when managing your tenancy and to understand the requirements of your lease agreements and support you in court if necessary.

We travel to communities within the Mid West and Gascoyne region as far as Carnarvon, Meekatharra, and Three Springs. Our Carnarvon office can assist you in getting an appointment if you live in the Gascoyne region.

Private Rental Accommodation Casework

If you are living in private rental accommodation, and are having problems with the tenancy, this service might be useful to you. We can visit you in your home to talk about how to solve the problems, and help you in fixing them. Our worker will keep in touch with you over a few months to see how things are going.

Supported Housing Assistance Program

If you are a tenant of the Department of Housing (Homeswest), and are having difficulty in managing your tenancy, this service can provide support to you. We can send a worker to visit you in your home to discuss solutions and assist with a range of issues, which may be causing problems. The worker will keep in touch over a few months to see how things are going. You can discuss the service at GRC or ask at The Department of Housing for details.
